Blue Velvet Line Dancers
Blue Velvet Line Dancers have been in existence since 1995, when 1 opened my first class in Chiswell Green St. Albans. I mainly cater for the over 50's in day classes in Chiswell Green, Hatfield, and Welwyn Garden City. We dance to a variety of music and styles including country, disco, swing and Latin American. Everyone can take part as they can do as little or as much as they want, leaving out difficult steps where applicable. We have taken part in a variety of activities over the years, which have included having a song written especially for the Millennium to which I choreographed a dance.

Every year I aim to raise money for Cancer Research and have raised over £10,000 with the help of other Line Dancers at various events. We have been away on Line Dance weekend breaks to Weymouth, Bournemouth, and Norfolk. We like to do a few fun things, as part of the Line Dance scene is "Fun and Friendship." These events have included themes on Easter Bonnets, Comic Relief Red Nose Day, The Good Bad and Ugly, and Pantomime Characters. A few times a year we have line dance socials to enjoy the dances we have learned.

Classes are held most weeks in the year.
